Today, the problems of thought and practice are being discussed along with the human body. This is because the body is life and the subject of life, and interaction in the living space is realized. Life and life issues, on the one hand, move toward ecological and environmental horizons, and on the other hand, move toward the Fourth Industrial Revolution and post-human discussions. Body thinking shows how interaction becomes a reality by illuminating the body as a subject. The body discussed in Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, which provided nourishment for the Suwoon’ thinking, is always the center of practice. And the interaction of bodies of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism is realized as social systems through communication in a given situation. The purpose of this paper is to see whether these discussions can be expanded to Luhmann’s Self-referential Autopoietic Systems by showing that the Suwoon’s thinking is the body thinking. First, it will show that the human body is itself a medium and form of paradox in the Suwoon’s thinking. Discussion explores the meaning of two paradoxes. In other words, (i) ‘the paradox of inside[內]/outside[外]’ and (ii) ‘the paradox of serve[侍]/knowledge[知]’ are presented. Each of these paradoxes can be resolved along with (i) my heart is your heart(吾心即汝心) and (ii) the substance of your disease, and through this, it will show that the reality of faith is embodied. Finally, when Luman’s diagnosis of language and body is applied to the reasons of Suwoon, the meaning of disease seen in system theory will be revealed.
