The purpose of this study is to analyze the feng shui of the birthplaces of Jeon Bong-joon, Kim Kae-nam, and Son Hwajung, the main leaders of the Donghak Revolution, and to identify the relationship between the feng shui of the birthplaces and the Donghak Revolution. To achieve this, a combination of literature research analyzing relevant books and papers, along with terrain analysis using online maps and field visits, was employed as the research method. The contents of the study are as follows. First, we analyzed from a feng shui perspective whether the veins of the blue dragon(靑龍) were connected to all three locations and whether the white tiger(白虎) was closer. Second, since the White Tiger symbolizes martial aspects rather than civil ones, the aim was to verify whether the three locations could serve as birthplaces that utilize martial energy. Third, it was sought to confirm whether those born in the birthplaces located closer to the White Tiger possess elements of leadership that are contrary or opposing. The results of the research are as follows. It was confirmed that all three birthplaces of the leaders are closely associated w ith Baekho(白虎), wh ich represents mart ia l energy(武), indicating that these birthplaces are capable of rising up and leading a revolution through martial means. Second, the feng shui appearance and energy of the reverse(逆) did not conform to the times but instead acted as a rebellious energy that could rise against injustice. Third, it was determined that the feng shui energy of the birthplaces and the teachings of Donghak were combined and used as the energy of revolution for these leaders.
