부안 동학 문화콘텐츠 활용의 의의와 전망
본 연구의 목적은 부안 지역 동학의 특성을 찾고 이를 문화콘텐츠로 활용하고자 하는 의의와 전망을 알아보는 데 있다. 첫째로 부안 지역 동학의 특성을 찾고, 둘째는 문화콘텐츠 활용의 전망과 의의를 개진고자 한다. 호남 지역은 다른 지역에 비하여 다고 늦은 시기에 포덕이 되었다. 그러함에도 불구하고 동학을 역사의 전면에 내세우는 데에 결정적인 역할을 한 지역이다. 또한 동학이 다만 산간에 숨어서 활동하던 모습을 접고, 보다 적극적으로 대사회적을 활동을 펼치는 데에 결정적인 계기를 이룬 지역이기도 하다. 따라서 호남 지역의 동학은 여타의 지역에 비하여 보다 강경한 노선을 걸었다. 부안은 호남 지역에 속해 있으면서도, 호남이 지닌 동학의 강경성과는 다소 다른 면을 지니고 있었다. 이러한 부안이 지닌 동학의 특성에 대한 고찰은 동학농민혁명이 지닌 다양한 면모를 구명할 수 있는 근거될 것으로 판단된다. 특히 부안 지역의 동학이 보여준 상생과 조화의 정신은 지금까지 동학농민혁명 연구에서 논의되었던 면과도 많은 차별을 지닌다. 또한 백산기포는 보국(輔國)을 통해 무너진 질서를 바르게 잡고, 무너진 질서 속에서 잃어가는 생명을 구하고, 백성들로 하여금 편안한 삶〔安民〕을 이룩할 수 있는 길을 마련하는 데에 있다. 본 연구는 이와 같은 부안 지역 동학의 특성을 잘 살려 여하히 문화콘텐츠로 활용하느냐에 중요한 의의를 둔다
The Meaning and Prospect of the Utilization of Cultural Contents of Donghak in Bu-an Area
The purpose of this study is to find the characteristics of Donghak in Bu-an area and to examine the significance and prospect of using it as cultural contents. First, it is to find the characteristics of Donghak in Bu-an area and second, to explore the prospect and significance of utilizing cultural contents. The Honam region became a Podeok(布德) in the late period compared to other regions, and despite this, it played a decisive role in putting Donghak on the front of history. It is also a crucial area for Donghak to close its activities in the mountains and to actively engage in anti-social activities. Therefore, Donghak in Honam region took a tougher line than other regions. Bu-an belonged to the Honam region, but it had a somewhat different aspect from the hardness of Donghak of Honam. The study of the characteristics of Donghak in Bu-an is expected to be the basis for the various aspects of Donghak Peasant Revolution. In particular, the spirit of coexistence and harmony shown by Donghak in Buan region has many discriminations from the aspects discussed in Donghak Peasant Revolution research so far. In addition, Donghak Peasant Revolution in Baeksan is to correct the collapsed order through the homeland, save the life lost in the collapsed order, and provide the people with a comfortable life. This study has an important meaning in utilizing the characteristics of Donghak in Bu-an area and using it as cultural contents.
